Woman accused filming juvenile naked in Davidson County

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A woman has been charged after allegedly filming a juvenile naked, according to Detective J. Todd with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.

Krystal Mahala Robinson, 31, of Salisbury, is charged with first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

On May 3, the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office started an investigation after receiving a report from the Davidson County Department of Social Services.

The report alleged that a woman had filmed a juvenile naked over Skype.

Sheriff’s investigators were able to verify that the video existed and contained explicit images of the juvenile.

Robinson was taken into custody and placed in the Davidson County Jail under a $250,000 secured bond.

She is scheduled to appear in court June 27.
