REIDSVILLE, N.C. — Deputies with the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office have taken a woman, wanted in connection with Thursday morning’s fire at the Isometrics plant in Reidsville, into custody.

Amy Pruitt Warf London, 54, was wanted for setting fire to certain buildings.

Deputies with the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office and fire investigators were called to the Isometrics plant, located at 1266 North Scales St. in Reidsville, at 4:14 a.m. Thursday.

Employees told investigators they smelled smoke when they first got to work and then found the fire in an office, according to Robert Cardwell, an investigator with the Rockingham County Fire Marshal’s Office.

Fire investigators said they believe London broke into the Isometrics office and started the fire.

Investigators were already working on a suspected case of arson at the Isometrics plant, located at 7537 Highway 87 in Reidsville. In that case, two vehicles on the property were burned on April 29.

In Thursday morning’s incident, authorities were able to obtain surveillance video of the suspect.

Authorities said they believe London was living out of her car, a silver 2014 Nissan Sentra.
