FORT MILL, S.C. — A guest at Carowinds is accused of pushing a ride operator out of the way to grab her cell phone from the tracks, according to The Herald Online.

The incident happened around 9:20 p.m. last Friday on the Boo Blasters on Boo Hill ride.

According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, the ride operator said the guest approached him, explaining that she dropped her phone on the ride.

When the employee told her that she would have to wait until the park closed, the woman pushed him out of the way and proceeded onto the tracks, according to The Herald.

The Carowinds employee then pushed the ride’s emergency stop button and alerted park security.

When York County deputies asked her about the incident, the woman denied having any contact with the Carowinds employee.

The woman has been banned from Carowinds for the next five years, according to The Herald.
