Police release name of Eden homicide victim

EDEN, N.C. — The man killed in Tuesday morning’s shooting in Eden has been identified.

Larry “Bud” Alexander Settle Jr., 25, of Eden, was found outside of a home in the 600 block of Anderson Street around 12:20 a.m.

A release from the Eden Police Department says Settle died from apparent gunshot wounds.

Police obtained warrants to search the home and a car on the premises, according to Eden Deputy Chief Greg Light.

This is an active an ongoing investigation.
