1 killed in wreck on Oak Ridge Road in Guilford County

1 - Copy - CopyGUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — One person was killed in a single-vehicle wreck on Oak Ridge Road in Guilford County Tuesday, according to Trooper Chris Knox.

The wreck, which happened at about 11:30 a.m., was in the front yard of the Moravia Moravian Church and people in the church have been told to stay inside.

The driver was going east on N.C. 150 when they went off the road to the right and struck a tree.

Knox told the News & Record, “This is the most damaged car I’ve seen in my 15 years.”

The wreck is so bad officials are not able to immediately identify the victim.
