WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Dash have added several new items to the concessions roster for the 2016 season, including a hot dog that is like nothing we’ve seen before.

Meet the “Cheesy Pig Dog,” which the Dash call a “must for hot dog lovers.”

At the Big Dog Stand on the first-base side of the stadium, this unique creation combines popular foods from our region.

It’s topped with barbecue, macaroni and cheese and shredded cheese, and the Dash say if you want a little kick, you can add Texas Pete and create a “Flaming Cheesy Pig Dog.”

Fans can also get Tex-Mex cuisine at the new South of Downtown Stand on the third-base side of the stadium.

Some of the entrees at South of Downtown include a Jumbo Burrito and Ultimate Nachos, both of which can come with beef or chicken.

The team has also added a new weekly promotion — Food Truck Saturday. A selection of food trucks will be around the concourse each Saturday.

The Dash’s 2016 season kicks off on Thursday at BB&T Ballpark, located at 951 Ballpark Way in Winston-Salem.
