3 injured in fall from home under construction in Gibsonville, 1 airlifted to hospital

GIBSONVILLE, N.C. — Three men were injured after falling from a home under construction Wednesday evening, according to officers with the Gibsonville Police Department.

The incident happened Ashley Woods neighborhood in Gibsonville.

Two men were transported to Alamance Regional Medical Center. Gibsonville police said they were alert but the extent of their injuries is not known.

One man was airlifted by AirCare to UNC Medical Center with serious injuries.

Gibsonville police said the incident involved a forklift, which the three men were laying bricks with.

The incident is believed to be accidental, according to Gibsonville police.

The identities of the three men have not been released.
