2 suspects identified in assault at Lexington gas station

LEXINGTON, N.C. — Lexington police have identified two suspects in an assault that left a man with life-threatening injuries.

Quadarius Shaquille Kirkland, 23, and Jeramie Jamar Santiago, 25, both of Lexington, are wanted for assault inflicting serious injury.

Officers were dispatched to Bass Food Mart, located at 817 Cotton Grove Road, at 3:53 p.m. Tuesday.

A male victim sustained life-threatening injuries in an assault and was found lying in the parking lot of the gas station, according to Lexington police.

The victim was initially transported to Lexington Medical Center, then airlifted by AirCare to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

The victim was identified Tuesday night as Ray Eason, 24, of Lexington.

Lexington police said the suspects left the scene in a light blue Chevrolet Impala with an estimated model year between 2006-2010.
