Missing hikers found in downtown Asheville

Update: Formerly missing hikers Tesla Rackley and Anthony Logan have been found alive and unharmed in downtown Asheville.

NEBO, N.C. — Search and rescue crews are looking for two hikers from Shelby who have been reported missing in Pisgah National Forest.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that 25-year-old Anthony Logan and 20-year-old Tesla Rackley have not been seen since Saturday afternoon near the Laurel Creek and Squirrel Gap trailhead.

Crews were expected to return to looking for the missing pair on Tuesday morning in western North Carolina.
