DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — A dog was found duct-taped in South Carolina and now the sheriff’s office is looking for answers.

The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office posted to its Facebook page that the dog was found walking around Monday in Darlington.

Deputies responded to a call about the dog and found the dog with duct tape wrapped around the mouth and head.

The deputies were able to catch the dog and safely remove the tape, according to the sheriff’s office.

The dog has since been taken to the Darlington County Animal Shelter for care and treatment.
