ALBEMARLE, N.C. – An “Easter” baby was born in North Carolina on Good Friday.

Stephanie Alexandria Easter was born March 25 at Carolinas HealthCare System in Stanly to parents Nathaniel Alexander Easter and Fadaisha Chablis Easter.

Stephanie Alexandria was born at 7 pounds 10 ounces and 20 inches long, according to father Nathaniel Easter.

Nathaniel Easter said they named her Stephanie after his mother who passed away when he was 15.

“We thought about how crazy it would be to have a baby born so close to Easter and her name being Easter,” Nathaniel Easter said. “We didn’t really have any plans for Easter before, but now it’s all about the baby and we couldn’t be happier.”
