SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- A high school math teacher in San Diego is on administrative leave after being accused of looking at lingerie while his students were taking a test.

According to KGTV, while the students were taking a test, the teacher, who sources have identified as Paul Swanson, was busy surfing the Internet.

Swanson was so engrossed in what he was doing that he didn't realize his laptop was still connected to the classroom projector and the students could see what he was searching.

He just happened to be searching for lingerie on eBay when students began recording video of what was being shown on the projector.

"He never even looked up! It's not even just the fact of what he did, but what is he doing in class? He's sitting there doing nothing," parent Catherine Castillo told KGTV.

Castillo's son is a sophomore at the school and she said she learned about the incident when the school's principal sent an email out to parents.

"They could have said possible misconduct. They just said it's a personnel issue and we wanted to let you guys know before the news got a hold of it. So basically they were covering their butts," Castillo said.

Swanson is on administrative leave while school officials conduct an investigation.

As for the video, well it quickly made its rounds on social media. One site even captioned the video "Alga-Bra."
