Guilford County ambulance, taxi involved in accident in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Guilford County EMS ambulance was involved in an accident on Wednesday evening.

The accident was reported at 6:12 p.m. at 3418 N. Church St. in Greensboro.

According to Greensboro police, a taxi turned off of Berryman Street into traffic on North Church Street and was struck by the ambulance.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital. Seven people were involved in the accident.

Greensboro police did not disclose the extent of the injuries but said no one was critically injured.

This will remain an open investigation at least until police can speak with both drivers, officers on the scene said.
