WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are investigating a wreck involving a Winston-Salem Forsyth County school bus.

Officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department were called to the intersection of Country Club and Old Vineyard roads just before 7 a.m. Tuesday in reference to the crash.

School bus No. 236 was headed East on Country Club Road when officers say the driver of a Dodge truck, Antonio Lugo, failed to yield when making a right turn from Old Vineyard Road.

The truck then hit the front right portion of the bus.

There were no children on board at the time of the crash and the bus driver was not injured.

Lugo was cited for failure to yield the right of way and driving without a license.
