JAMESTOWN, N.C. — A third grader in Jamestown is gaining national attention for a letter he wrote to Republican front-runner Donald Trump for a school project.
Jackson Wheeless is a student at Millis Road Elementary in Jamestown and recently wrote the letter, according to his mother Kelley Wheeless.
“I have seen several articles about you and have seen you on the television. I think you have been very rude to many people,” he wrote.
Wheeless goes on to write that he wants Trump to start thinking about the children in this country. He said he wants to grow up to be a husband, father and police officer.
“You should be someone that we can learn from and hope to grow up to be like, he writes. “I do not think you are doing a very good job of this.”
