Lexington woman facing drug charges
LEXINGTON, N.C. — A Lexington woman was arrested on drug-related charges Tuesday.
Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Department of Public Safety conducted a drug investigation at a home on Welcome-Arcadia Road in Lexington.
During the investigation, detectives found a wax paper bag that contained methamphetamine and a plastic straw with a powder residue on it.
As a result of the investigation, 37-year-old Kristie Manning Douglas was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was placed in the Davidson County Detention Center under a $2,500 secured bond. Her court date is set for March 31.
