WILMINGTON, N.C. — A North Carolina sex offender is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl while on probation for another sexual crime.

The Wilmington Star-News reported that 24-year-old Ceasar Ramere Bozeman was recently arrested and charged with three counts each of second-degree rape, kidnapping and statutory rape of a child.

The suspect allegedly restrained and raped the girl on Aug. 1, Nov. 14 and Dec. 28, according to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.

He had already been convicted of sexual battery in 2014 for a different crime involving a minor, which resulted in him registering as a sex offender.

Bozeman was placed in the New Hanover County jail under a $500,000 bond.
