Man accused of assaulting woman, damaging windows at two Burlington businesses

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A man is accused of assaulting a woman and damaging windows at two different businesses in Burlington.

Jason Delacy Hinshaw, 29, has been charged with two counts of injury to real property and one count each of assault on a female, cocaine possession and driving while impaired.

Burlington police said they were called to Divine Morning Tattoo at 138 W. Front St. at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in reference to a report of malicious damage.

Officers spoke to the female victim who said the suspect assaulted her and broke the store front windows at Divine Morning Tattoo and the Burlington Beer Works at 103 S Main Street.

The suspect was later arrested at the Sheetz at 2628 Alamance Road. He was placed in the Alamance County Jail under no bond for the assault charge and a $25,000 secured bond for all other related offenses.
