Canine officer Max may be all business on the job, but bring out a hose to wash off the cruiser and he reverts back to his puppy years.

According to the Huffington Post, Vermont State Trooper Nicholas Arlington decided to wash his patrol car on Sunday while the weather was nice.

He posted a video to Facebook showing Max “helping” him do some cleaning.

In the video, Max repeatedly jumps into the air and chases the water hose as Arlington moves it from side to side.

“It’s a little warmer today, and a good chance to clean all that winter grime off your cars. If you can find a helper…” Vermont State Police wrote on Facebook.

Max just celebrated his second birthday last July, so no wonder he’s still a puppy at heart.
