CHARLOTTE, N.C. — NASCAR’s Danica Patrick recently went “undercover” in Charlotte as a Lyft driver for a new series the driving service is producing.

In the video, she tells a passenger, “My boyfriend thinks I’m a horrible driver. … I don’t follow the rules. I drive too fast. I ride too close. … I hate waiting.”

Patrick also mentions how much she loves left turns.

When she drives over a portion of the road painted in a checkered pattern she tells her passenger, “Sometimes I come around the corner here and pretend like I’m crossing the finish line.”

At a stop light, she even looks at a minivan beside her, revs her engine and takes off when the light turns green.

By the end of each ride, Patrick told her passengers she wasn’t a typical Lyft driver.
