Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers is celebrating the 91st birthday of co-founder and namesake Freddy Simon with 91-cent frozen custard treats today through Feb. 25.

Participating restaurants – including restaurants at 4106 Brian Jordan Place at Deep River in High Point and 1421 Boone Station Drive at Alamance Crossing in Burlington – will offer a single scoop of the restaurant’s signature chocolate or vanilla frozen custard served in either a traditional cake cone or a dish for 91 cents during the run of the promotion.

Freddy’s was founded in 2002 by Scott Redler, Freddy Simon, and Freddy’s sons Bill and Randy Simon.
