MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A Georgia couple is accused of leaving a 5-year-old in a cold car while they stole sex toys from a South Carolina lingerie store on Valentine’s Day.

According to WBTW, Amanda Nicole Savage, 24, and Gary Lee Savage, 26, of Elberton, Ga., were charged with cruelty to children and shoplifting.

According to a Myrtle Beach Police report, the couple stole sex toys and lubricants from Priscilla’s Lingerie Store on Kings Highway around 11 p.m.

Store employees called police when a sensor alarm at the front door was activated.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found the couple’s 5-year-old inside their cold car.

According to WBTW, store employees told police the couple had been inside the store for “awhile.”

The couple told police they were staying at a nearby hotel, but their names were not on the hotel guest list. Police told WBTW that they believe the family was living out of their car.
