Burlington police investigating homicide

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Burlington police are investigating a homicide that happened early Tuesday morning.

According to the Times-News, a man was shot and killed at the intersection of Border Street and Wood Avenue around 2:30 a.m.

A person who was with the victim at the time called police to report the shooting. By the time police and EMS arrived, the victim had died.

So far, no one has been charged in connection with the shooting.
