Burlington pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint while trying to make a delivery Monday night in Burlington.

Burlington Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at 1415 Stout St. in Burlington around 8:30 p.m.

A delivery driver for Marco’s Pizza, which is located at 1135 N. Church St., told officers she was robbed at gunpoint while attempting to make a delivery.

According to police, the delivery driver was approached by four men on the way back to her vehicle. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and demanded money and the pizza.

The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot. The delivery driver was not injured during the incident.
