MANCHESTER, N.H. – Republican frontrunner Donald Trump has predicted that the Carolina Panthers will win the Super Bowl.

Trump made his pick when the candidates were asked to make a Super Bowl prediction during Saturday night’s Republican Presidential Debate.

“Carolina,” Trump said when asked the question. This is a flip-flop for Trump who told CBS’s “Face the Nation” earlier this year that he favored the Denver Broncos.

John Kasich, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz all picked the Panthers. Jeb Bush and Chris Christie picked the Broncos. Ben Carson didn’t pick one team over the other.

The Panthers take on the Broncos for Super Bowl 50 at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. It’s the first time the Panthers have been to the Super Bowl since 2004.
