OLYMPIA, Wash. -- A man in Washington state, who has a highly unusual name, has been arrested again.
Beezow Doo-doo Zopittybop-bop-bop, 34, was arrested Sunday for allegedly attacking an Evergreen State College police officer and a county deputy who detained him for tearing down posters outside the school's library.
According to The Columbian, Zopittybop-bop-bop appeared in court Monday to answer to charges of first-degree assault, third-degree assault, third-degree malicious mischief and malicious harassment.
Authorities said when they tried to detain Zopittybop-bop-bop, he bit an officer several times, tried to stab him with an ink pen and began reaching for the officer's gun. A second officer was injured when Zopittybop-bop-bop swung a handcuff case "like a hammer."
Officers eventually used a Taser to bring him down, but he still got up and ran away twice. After Zopittybop-bop-bop was hit by the Taser a third time he was arrested.
Zopittybop-bop-bop, who was born Jeffrey Drew Wilschke, was previously arrested in 2012 on marijuana and weapon charges, and in 2013 on drug charges.
His bail was set at $50,000.
