Greg “Catman” Good

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Greg “Catman” Good has never missed a Carolina Panthers home game since the team’s formation in 1995. Now, he’s trying to get to the Super Bowl.

The Winston-Salem man is turning to social media to help him get to Super Bowl 50 by setting up a GoFundMe page.

“I would love to go to the Super Bowl this year and represent our Panthers, but my personal funds are not sufficient,” he wrote on the page.

Good said going to the Super Bowl to support the Panthers would be a “once in a lifetime experience that I will truly appreciate.”

He has been sporting his characteristic getup of electric blue wig and blue-and-black “Catman” cape since the ‘90s, appearing in the stadium every game.

Good is considered the biggest Panthers fan, but he has battled health issues.

He was in the hospital for nearly a week in 2014 after being diagnosed with congestive heart failure, and almost missed a Panthers game.

The Panthers take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 on Feb. 7 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
