GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- At Southeast Guilford High School, students are hoping to build wells in Africa, while at Grimsley High School, they have a food pantry and are restoring a greenhouse to grow food.

At Ferndale Middle they are "spreading the love" collecting jars of peanut butter and jelly for the Salvation Army.

These were just three of 15 service learning projects on display during a day of service at Four Seasons Town Center.

FOX8’s Cindy Farmer shows us how they’re all great examples of what’s right with our schools.
