This is a very cool story in this edition of Roy's Folks. Local singer/songwriter Tyler Millard lost his eyesight a few years ago because of Retinitis Pigmentosa. It creates what is described as tunnel vision, like looking at the world through a very small drinking straw. He got involved with the “Foundation Fighting Blindness” locally and spoke about his experience and performed music.

The national organization found out about him and this year he will tour the country for the foundation and perform a song he wrote about going blind.

His song  “Alive” is now on iTunes for download and a portion of the proceeds will go back to the foundation.
