Asheboro High School student focuses energy on volunteering

One Asheboro High School teen has earned a Congressional award for the work he does in his community.

Sophomore Michael Willet completed more than 100 hours of service for the award.

After high school, Willet wants to study engineering at NC State and hopes to get involved with sustainable energy efforts.
