LINVILLE, N.C. – A North Carolina river otter may give the viral snow panda some competition.

Grandfather Mountain wildlife sanctuary in northwest North Carolina recently posted a video showing Luna the river otter sliding around on her belly.

The following description was posted along with the video, “River otters love playing in snow, often sliding around on their bellies — as Luna is more than happy to demonstrate.”

The video was posted a day after a different video showing a giant panda frolicking at a zoo went viral.

That video footage showed Tian Tian the panda rolling around and sliding in tall mounds of the soft, powdery snow that covered the National Zoo grounds.
