GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an increase in residential burglaries in the eastern and southeast portion of Guilford County during the last month.

So far, deputies said they have descriptions for several vehicles of interest in these cases, but do not have license plate numbers.

Here are some vague descriptions of the vehicles the suspects could be driving:

  • Black 2000 model Cadillac Escalade or Chevrolet Tahoe
  • Older model white Chevy Impala which is similar to the older style Caprice
  • Blue Nissan Altima

Deputies said citizens should call 911 to report any activity that seems out of place in their neighborhood.

Authorities ask that everyone lock up any jewelry and take photos of items that are unique. Citizens are encouraged to activate security alarms before leaving their homes.

The sheriff’s office also asked that citizens try to write down license plate numbers and good descriptions of the suspects if they see something out of the ordinary.
