GREENSBORO, N.C. — The search continues for a missing Greensboro woman who has not been seen in more than a week.

Her name is Tyarra Williams, she’s 19 and was last seen on January 7th.

Family members reported her missing to the Greensboro Police Department when they couldn’t get in contact with her.

Sgt. Brian Pilcher said her disappearance is suspicious because she hasn’t posted to social media or sent a text message. Investigators also say this is out of character for her.

Dozens are searching for Williams. On Saturday morning, family and friends formed a search party to find leads. They started in the area where she was last spotted.

Police say Williams was last seen near the Stoneybrook Apartments on Webster Road.
