Mebane man faces multiple heroin-related charges; jailed under $500k bond

MEBANE, N.C. – A Mebane man was held under a $500,000 bond after being arrested on multiple drug charges including eight counts of trafficking heroin.

Thomas Lee Brincefield, 35, was arrested Friday in connection to several drug-related felonies that allegedly happened between late October and earlier this week, according to police.

The suspect faces multiple drug charges including trafficking between 4 and 14 grams of heroin, maintaining his residence for a controlled substance and with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver 3.1 grams of heroin.

He was also charged with manufacturing a Schedule I controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia.

Brincefield was jailed in Alamance County under a $500,000 secured bond. He has court planned for next week.
