NEW YORK — A teenage girl has plunged to her death while trying to jump from one roof to another in Manhattan.

The New York Daily News reported that 15-year-old Natalia Jimenez plunged six stories from a Hell’s Kitchen apartment building on Friday afternoon.

The teenager slipped and fell into a narrow sleeve between buildings while playing on rooftops with two 14-year-old friends, according to the paper. She died after being rushed to the hospital.

“She was a good girl,” said Jimenez’s mother, Agatha Mangano. “She was happy. She was funny. She made everybody laugh.”

Mangano said her daughter was an honor student and champion billiards player. She said she wants a full investigation because she believes foul play could have been involved.

“She was the best little girl in New York,” said Rosalino Mangano, Jimenez’s grandfather.
