CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A huge pep rally for the Panthers brought people from all over to Charlotte on Friday night.

Sunday is the team's first playoff game. Fans came together to show support and spirit, leading up to the big game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

The Miller Lite Panthers Playoff Pep Rally started at 7 p.m. and lasted until 11 p.m. at the EpiCentre in uptown Charlotte.

Organizers say thousands were expected to show up.

The TopCats Cheerleaders, former Panthers players and the Panthers percussion drumline made appearances.

Among the people attending the pep rally were fans from the Triad.

"We came all the way up here because it's the home team," said a fan, traveling from Lexington. "We hope they bring us home a win."
