Janet Jackson’s Winston-Salem concert rescheduled as she undergoes surgery

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Singer Janet Jackson has rescheduled several touring dates as she undergoes surgery, which includes a concert in Winston-Salem.

The pop singer had previously planned to perform at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum for March 4. The concert will now take place on Aug. 10 at the same venue.

“Please pray for me, my family and our entire company during this difficult time,” the singer said on Facebook, in part, on Christmas Eve. “I love you all so much and am ever grateful for your understanding and your love. Gon’ b alright.”

Jackson posted the newly updated concert dates for the “Unbreakable World Tour.”

The Winston-Salem concert’s price ranges from $99 to $125 on the lower level and $29 to $99 on the upper level, according to Ticket Master.
