NC teen charged with murder in double shooting that killed 1

HENDERSON, N.C. — A North Carolina teen is facing a murder charge after allegedly shooting two people in the parking lot of a business in Henderson, according to WNCN.

Rhy’heem Wilson, 18, was charged with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted robbery, attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

Henderson Police told WNCN that the charges stem from a shooting that happened at the A.A. Food Mart on Jan. 6.

When police arrived on the scene, they found Justin Moore, 31, and Crystal Moore, 31, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were taken to the hospital and Justin Moore later died from his injuries.

Wilson is being held in the Vance County Jail without bond.
