WELCOME, N.C. — A new pizza restaurant has opened in Davidson County, according to the Lexington Dispatch.

Marco’s Pizza is now at 6999 Old U.S. Highway 52 where the old Hungry Howie’s was at in the Bradley Commons shopping center.

“Small-town America is appealing to us,” Jim Ferdenzi, the location’s district operator, recently told the paper. “The owner was driving by one day and noticed the location was vacant and thought it looked pretty good. He knew it would be a pretty simple upfit.”

The restaurant offers pizza, subs, wings, salads, cheesy bread and more and offers dine-in and delivery service. The business is part of a national chain.
