Burned body found in Yadkin County identified as Winston-Salem real estate broker

YADKIN COUNTY, N.C. — Human remains found Monday in a burned car near East Bend were those of a real estate executive in Winston-Salem, authorities said Wednesday.

The body of Charles G. Miller, the chief executive officer of Miller Hatcher Commercial Real Estate Inc., was identified through dental X-rays, said Dr. Donald Jason, a Forsyth County medical examiner.

Rod Hatcher, the president at Miller Hatcher, also confirmed Wednesday that Miller’s body was found in the burned car.

Hatcher declined to comment further. The firm’s offices are at 2150 Country Club Road.
