4 teens arrested in High Point after armed robbery, chase

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Four teens were arrested in High Point on Wednesday evening following an armed robbery and chase, according to Capt. T. Ellenberger with High Point police.

Jeremiah Davis, 18; DeMaurice Turner, 18; Jalen Johnson, 17; and Tyrann Gray, 17; all of High Point, are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.

At 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to an armed robbery at The Store, located at 700 Oakview Road.

Officers spotted the suspect vehicle making a getaway.

When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, a three-mile chase ensued, Ellenberger said.

After the vehicle chase and two foot chases, High Point officers apprehended the four suspects. Officers recovered money and a handgun.

Davis and Turner were also charged with three other robberies that occurred in late December. Two occurred at the Pick N Go, located at 1101 Eastchester Drive, on Dec. 22 and Dec. 27. The other occurred at the Quick Pick Grocery, located at 714 Greensboro Road, on Dec. 22.

All four suspects were confined in the Guilford County Jail, High Point.
