Missing Greensboro man located by cab driver

Update: Wade Scott was located later Monday morning by a cab driver and taken to Police Headquarters in safe and healthy condition. The Silver Alert has been canceled.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police responded early Monday to the Davis Rest Home on 1514 Woodbriar Avenue in reference to a missing 56-year old man.

Wade Scott was last seen at about 12:25 a.m.

Scott is a white male, 5-feet-nine-inches tall, 140 pounds with blue eyes and long grey hair in a ponytail.  He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a blue shirt, a long blue jacket and dark blue jeans.

Scott is believed to be suffering from dementia or other cognitive impairment.
