Greensboro police investigating ‘suspicious’ shooting

Greensboro police are investigating a shooting reported on Overland Heights.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are investigating a shooting early Monday morning that they are calling “very suspicious.”

Officers were called to 3820 Overland Heights about 4:10 a.m. about a shooting, police said. They were unable to find anyone who had been shot when they arrived in the area.

Police later learned that the victim was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. Police are questioning him now.

The name and address of the victim is being withheld temporarily.
