HIGH POINT, N.C. – Tommy Williams is hurt, surprised and outraged that criminals disrespected his son's gravesite.

“It's one thing to take something off a grave, but from a baby's grave?” Williams said. “It just, it blows my mind.”

Williams lost his son, Trevor Ray Williams, in March 2013. The child died from several health complications following a premature birth.

Family members placed a number of special items by the child’s gravesite: an angel statue, a Jesus statue and several other items.

Williams went to visit his son at the Floral Garden Park Cemetery on Saturday to place more items, and noticed thieves had struck—taking everything. Williams contacted cemetery managers and groundskeepers who told him they didn’t remove the items.

Williams filed a report with the High Point Police Department.

Williams says the last time he remembers seeing the items were at the end of October.

A $100 reward is being offered by the family to anyone who provides information leading to a conviction.
