Suspect sought in Greensboro convenience store robbery

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect in a convenience store robbery.

On Thursday at about 9:20 p.m., a man entered the Circle K, located at 3700 Groometown Road, and allegedly demanded cash from the register.

The clerk described the suspect to Greensboro police as a black male in his 20s who weighed approximately 200 to 220 pounds.

The suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt and, from surveillance footage, what appeared to be a Chicago Bulls knit hat.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000.
