Witnesses heard argument, then gunshots in Saturday’s homicide in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police said witnesses heard an argument prior to a man being fatally shot Saturday night.

Dashawn Bridges Sharp, 20, of 3415 N. O’Henry Blvd., was killed at an apartment complex at 3622 Lakefield Drive on Saturday, police said.

Investigators said Sharp was shot following a disturbance with someone else.

Capt. Mike Richey said witnesses reported hearing an argument prior to the shooting, but investigators are still trying to determine what the argument was about. Police believe they are looking for only one suspect, Richey said.
