GREENSBORO, N.C. – A Piedmont hamburger restaurant serves the best burgers in North Carolina, according to a recent report.

Business Insider recently named Hops Burger Bar in Greensboro as having the best burgers in the Tar Heel state.

Earlier this year, Trip Advisor named the Greensboro restaurant as the No. 1 burger joint in the entire country.

Business Insider published its list based on “accolades, reviews, awards, and our own stomachs.” The website wrote the following about Hops Burger Bar:

“Hops Burger Bar in Greensboro puts an international spin on its burgers, with unique ingredients like wasabi slaw, jalapeño bacon, and French-onion gravy. Don’t forget the quality of the burger is top-notch, too, and it’s made with certified Angus beef.”

TripAdvisor said of the following about the restaurant earlier this year:

Serving premium Angus burgers on buttery brioche buns, this popular eatery pairs each patty with a side of crispy fries salted to perfection. Guests can choose from a variety of burger options including the Hops Classic, or the Hawaiian topped with sweet and spicy chili sauce, blue cheese and grilled pineapple.

The Triad Business Journal reported in August that the owner of Hops Burger Bar is planning to open a new location at 2138 Lawndale Drive by January.
