Tanglewood Festival of Lights kicks off new season; more than 1 million lights on display
CLEMMONS, N.C. – One of the most popular Christmas attractions in the Piedmont opened last week and will remain open until early next year.
The Festival of Lights at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons kicked off its 24th season on Nov. 21st and will remain open until Jan. 3. Hours are 6 to 11 p.m.
Family vehicles cost $15, commercial vehicles cost $35 and motorcoaches and buses cost $100, according to the park’s website.
The festival added five new displays last year, pushing the total to 85 with more than 1 million lights. They will be nestled in a display route that travels nearly four miles through the park.
“All of our displays now are 100% LED lights, which are brighter, which is great,” Jessica Sanders with Forsyth County Parks and Recreation told FOX8 last year.
