Third suspect sought in Stokesdale home invasion

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a third suspect wanted in connection to a Stokesdale home invasion that happened in early November.

Jarrell Rakeem Rutledge, 23, of Winston-Salem, is wanted for attempted first-degree murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and damage to property. Rutledge should be considered armed and dangerous.

The charges stem from a home invasion that happened on Nov. 11 at 8021 N.C. 68 in Stokesdale. Rutledge is the third suspect involved in this crime.

Two other suspects, Stacy Alexander and Rasheem Wilds, were previously charged and are being held in the Forsyth County Jail.

Anyone with information about this crime or location of this suspect should call Det. J. Lowes at (336) 641-5968 or Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000. Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the individual responsible.
