Two Greensboro convenience stores robbed at gunpoint

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are investigating two armed robberies that happened within five miles of one another Sunday night.

The first robbery took place at the Circle K, located at 3700 Groometown Road, at 11:13 p.m.

According to police, the man entered the business carrying a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving.

Then, fifteen minutes later, the Marathon Gas Station on 2435 Randleman Road was robbed at gunpoint.

It is unclear if the two robberies are connected. So far, police have not released a specific description of the suspect or suspects.
